Trabzonspor's opponent in the UEFA Europa League play-off round has been determined. The burgundy-blues will compete against the Hungarian team Ferencvaros for a spot in the next stage.
Ferencvaros advanced to the play-off round after eliminating Polish side Gornik Zabrze at the end of two matches in the UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round. With this result, the Hungarian representative became Trabzonspor's final opponent on their path to the Europa League.
The first leg of the tie will be played in Trabzon on August 20. Trabzonspor will host Ferencvaros at Papara Park.
The return leg, which will determine the team to advance, will take place in Hungary on August 27. If the burgundy-blues emerge victorious from this tie, they will continue their journey in the UEFA Europa League.
