Galatasaray has become active for the mid-season transfer window. It has been claimed that the yellow-reds will make transfers to replace two players who are no longer in the squad's plans.
According to a report by Milliyet Newspaper, two critical transfers will be carried out by the yellow-reds during the January period.
According to the report, the yellow-reds will send away their on-loan players who have failed to provide the expected return and will make two critical moves. Accordingly, it was noted that the club will part ways with Ndombele and Angelino during the mid-season transfer window and will make additions for the number 8 and left-back positions.
The yellow-reds decided not to exercise the options for the two players they loaned from Tottenham and Leipzig after they failed to deliver what was expected. Head Coach Okan Buruk, who started Ndombele and Angelino in the 11 against Manchester United, had benched them for the league match against Pendik.
While Buruk gave Ndombele limited playing time, he did not give Angelino enough chances. It was noted that the technical staff has negative thoughts regarding the two players.
It was reported that the scouting team has also been instructed regarding the positions planned to be reinforced during the mid-season break. It was emphasized that these two additions are being focused on meticulously, especially in terms of European and league planning.
