In a statement regarding the matter, the TFF said, "The Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors, at its meeting on 14.05.2026, has determined the transfer and registration periods for the 2026-2027 football season.
Accordingly, it has been decided that the 1st Transfer and Registration Period for the 2026-2027 football season will begin on June 22, 2026, and end on September 4, 2026, and that the 2nd Transfer and Registration Period will begin on January 1, 2027, and end on February 5, 2027."
