Turkish football's record-breaker İsmail Kartal: He buried a 12-year record in history

Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal set a new record following the yellow-navy team's 5-0 victory over Pendikspor.

Having won his last 11 Süper Lig matches at the helm of Fenerbahçe, Kartal has buried the record for the "Turkish manager with the most consecutive league wins at Fenerbahçe," which was previously held by Aykut Kocaman, into history.

Kocaman held this record by achieving victory in 10 consecutive Süper Lig matches while leading the yellow-navy team between December 2010 and March 2011.

Following the Pendikspor - Fenerbahçe match played last night, this 12-year-old record has now passed into the hands of İsmail Kartal.
