Turkish National Football Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella: We will be on the pitch with a different strategy

Vincenzo Montella attended the press conference held at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium, where the match will take place, alongside national footballer Barış Alper Yılmaz.

Montella stated that there has been a very good change in the team and emphasized the importance of being in communication with the players to receive feedback.

When reminded that they will play a very important match against Latvia, Montella noted that the opponent is a young team in terms of average age.

Expressing that he expects support from the fans in the match, Montella said, "We all know how emotional and passionate the people of Konya and the fans in Turkey in general are. Therefore, I have no doubts about this. I know Yusuf Sarı very well, but he had not been able to train with the team for a week. We expect him to be in training as of today. You have to perform on the pitch both individually and as a team. When we bring this continuity, their value will emerge. They are already very valuable players."
