The Turkish National Football Team will face Italy in an away friendly match on June 4 ahead of the 2024 European Championship. According to a statement on the Turkish Football Federation's website, the match will kick off at 21:45 TSI at the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium in the city of Bologna.
A total of 15 matches have been played between the two countries to date, 9 of which were official and 6 friendly. Italy has won 11 of these matches, while 4 ended in a draw. The national teams of Italy and Turkey have previously faced each other in the 1964 European Championship qualifiers, the 1974 World Cup qualifiers, and the 2000 and 2020 European Championship finals. The last match between the two teams was played in Konya on March 29, 2022, and Italy left the pitch with a 3-2 victory.
