In a message published on the club's social media account, "We do not view the foreign referee discussions, which are persistently brought to the agenda by certain club presidents who feed on chaos and try to change the agenda to camouflage their own failures, as well-intentioned.

Tuzlaspor Club, in its statement, also rejected the foreign referee debate in clear terms, stating, "While acknowledging their mistakes and shortcomings, we underline that our confidence in Turkish referees is complete. Even discussing the issue of foreign referees is an insult to the people of this country."
