Tuzlaspor, a team in the Trendyol 1st League, has responded to the "expensive ticket" allegations that have recently come to the fore regarding the club.

The statement from Tuzlaspor is as follows:

"A campaign aimed at smearing our club, Tuzlaspor, was launched by Murat Ağırel during a live broadcast on Halk TV on the evening of October 31, and claims were made that are devoid of legal basis and impossible to prove. The untrue allegations that our club launders money by selling tickets for the entire stadium at exorbitant prices for matches have been rejected by us since the first day. It has been announced to the public by our club that the tickets claimed to have been sold at high prices on the live broadcast were actually complimentary invitations provided by Passolig, and that the sole purpose of setting a high price was to maintain a home-field advantage.

With the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, it has been announced to the public that no abnormality was detected between the tickets sold for our club's matches and the total revenue obtained.

In the statement made by Passolig, the process regarding match tickets was explained in detail, and as we stated in our first public announcement, it was noted that the home club issues an invoice to Passolig for the amount of the revenue, and after the invoice is issued, the relevant revenue amount is paid into the club's account. It has been stated that our club generated a total revenue of 98 thousand 987 lira from 567 spectators across 6 matches.

The fact that the smear campaign initiated by Murat Ağırel has no basis has been established by the statements of the official authorities authorized in this matter. We hereby inform you that we have initiated legal proceedings to seek compensation for our material and moral damages against Murat Ağırel, who conducted a perception operation by showing areas where ticket sales are not permitted as sold tickets.

As we have stated before, we respectfully announce to the public that we will exercise all our legal rights against those who support the smearing of our club, either due to a lack of information or consciously, without sufficient information and documentation."
