Lyon, Fenerbahçe's opponent in the Champions League play-off round, is nearing the end of its preparations ahead of the first leg. The French side held a tactical training session on Monday morning at the OL Training Center under the guidance of head coach Paulo Fonseca.
While the majority of the squad participated in the training, the return of Mads Bidstrup, who had been away from the team for some time, and Argentine left-back Nicolas Tagliafico to team training was considered a positive development by the coaching staff.
New Lyon signings, Swiss right-back Zachary Athekame and defender Felix Bacher, were also among the players present at the training session.
The absentees from the French side's final session were Khalis Merah and Pavel Sulc. Merah remained away from the team as he continues treatment for a minor knee injury, while it was stated that Sulc is planned to return to training on Wednesday.
