Two players removed from the National Team squad

Barış Alper Yılmaz and Kaan Ayhan have been removed from the Turkish National Football Team's preliminary squad ahead of the UEFA Nations League B Group 4 match against Iceland, which will take place on Monday, October 14.

According to the statement released by the Turkish Football Federation, the following explanation was provided regarding the removal of the two players, who play for Galatasaray, from the squad:

"Barış Alper Yılmaz, who suffered a right hamstring injury during the match against Montenegro in Samsun, and Kaan Ayhan, who is suspended for the Iceland match after receiving a yellow card in the same game, have been removed from the preliminary squad."
