UEFA, the governing body of European football, has issued a statement regarding the betting investigation currently underway in the Turkish football world. The UEFA Press Office announced that communication with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regarding the matter is ongoing.

In its statement, UEFA said, “UEFA is in contact with the Turkish Football Federation regarding this matter. We have no further comments at this stage.”
