Ümit Özat announces who he will vote for in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality election

Former Fenerbahçe football player and commentator Ümit Özat has announced that he will cast his vote for Azmi Karamahmutoğlu, the Victory Party's candidate for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), in the upcoming local elections.

Former national football player Ümit Özat, who once played for and captained Fenerbahçe, revealed his voting preference during a program he attended.

Özat, who resides in Istanbul, stated, "I have one vote, and it is for President Azmi in Istanbul."

Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ also shared Özat's remarks on his social media account, stating, "My namesake Ümit Özat has announced that he will support Azmi Karamahmutoğlu and the Victory Party. No one should be surprised by a surprise result in Istanbul, similar to the 1994 elections."
