VakıfBank reaches the top of the Sultans League for the second consecutive time

VakıfBank and Fenerbahçe Medicana faced off in the Vodafone Sultans League play-off final. In the fifth and final match of the series held at the Istanbul VakıfBank Sports Palace, VakıfBank defeated their opponent 3-1 to take the trophy home.

After losing the first set 23-25, the yellow-and-blacks leveled the score in a breathtaking second set, winning 29-27. By dominating the third set 25-20 and the final set 25-19, VakıfBank crossed the finish line to claim the championship.

With this victory, VakıfBank has reached the happy ending for the 15th time in total in the Sultans League. The team, managed by Giovanni Guidetti, experienced the pride of winning their second consecutive championship.
