Victor Osimhen: I believe we will achieve much greater success

Victor Osimhen, the most expensive transfer in Turkish football history, has signed the contract that ties him to Galatasaray for four years. Following the signing ceremony, President Dursun Aydın Özbek, Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Deputy Chairman Abdullah Kavukcu, who led the transfer negotiations, and Victor Osimhen made statements to the Galatasaray YouTube Channel.

"I AM PROUD"

Expressing that it is a source of pride to be at Galatasaray again, Victor Osimhen said, "I am feeling very great emotions right now. I am very happy to be a part of the Galatasaray family again. First of all, I would like to thank my President and our Deputy Chairman. We have a very positive team right now. I am very proud to be here. You know my quality from last season. I believe that in the coming season, with the quality of both myself and my teammates, we will achieve much greater success with a much greater sense of belonging. We will give our all on the pitch not only in the league and the cup, but also in the Champions League, which is one of our main goals," he said.

"IT WAS FAR BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED"

Stating that he has always felt the fans by his side, the Nigerian star said, "Honestly, I didn't expect as much as I saw. It was a welcome far beyond what I expected. Galatasaray fans were already by my side in Germany. When I first came here, one of the most important reasons for me feeling happy here was that. KAVUKCU: WE HAD A DREAM

Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Deputy Chairman Abdullah Kavukcu also stated, "We had a dream with my President. We started talking in January. First, after talking with my President, we talked to Victor. We told him that we want you to stay here permanently. Even though there was a possibility of him going on loan, when we talked that day, he conveyed that he would stay with us. He said, 'Really?'
