Spanish footballer Marco Asensio, with whom Fenerbahçe has reached a transfer agreement, has arrived in Istanbul.

Fenerbahçe has bolstered its attack as part of its squad planning for the 2025-2026 season. The yellow-navy club has reached an agreement with Marco Asensio's club, Paris Saint-Germain, regarding his transfer fee, having already agreed on all terms with the player himself.
The 29-year-old footballer arrived in Istanbul late at night via the General Aviation Terminal at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The Spanish player was welcomed by Fenerbahçe officials and left the area in a waiting vehicle after completing passport procedures.

Yellow-navy fans who came to the airport to welcome Asensio also chanted for the star player.
Asensio is expected to sign the contract binding him to the yellow-navy colors today following his medical examinations.
