In the THY EuroLeague Final Four final, Fenerbahçe Beko faced off against the French representative Monaco at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
AKP Bursa Deputy and President of the UAE Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Mustafa Varank and AKP İzmir Deputy Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, who traveled to Abu Dhabi to watch the match, offered Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç baklava that had been brought specially from Turkey.
During the presentation of the baklava, it was noted that Mustafa Varank said, "Come on, in the name of God," and fed the dessert to Ali Koç by hand. Varank, who fed the baklava to Ali Koç by hand, said, "We are feeding this blessed baklava by hand."
