It has emerged that a football club was founded in Argentina, inspired by the Fenerbahçe Sports Club.

YouTube creator Fatih Koparan tracked down the "Fernebahçe" club, which was established in Necochea, Argentina, in 2022.

THEY WERE INSPIRED BY THE FAN GROUP

The namesake of Fernebahçe, founded in the city of Necochea, is the Fenerbahçe Sports Club. The two young founders of the club came across videos of Fenerbahçe's fans, known as 12 Numara, while watching videos of fan groups from teams in America and Europe. Impressed by the fans, the young men were also inspired by the popular Argentine drink "Fernet" and named their team Fernebahçe.

THE LOGO AND JERSEYS ARE THE SAME

In addition to the team's name, the jersey was designed with stripes in yellow and navy blue. While Fenerbahçe's logo is located in the upper corner of the jersey, it is positioned in the center at chest level on the Ferne jersey.

THE FAN GROUP NAME IS ALSO THE SAME

Speaking to Koparan, the team's players point out that while Fenerbahçe's fan group is called 12 Numara, their own fan group is called "La Doche," which means 12 Numara.

THEY LOVE FENERBAHÇE PLAYERS

The players, who state that they love former Fenerbahçe players Robin Van Persie, Roberto Carlos, and the legendary former manager Zico, are true Fenerbahçe fans. The players also describe these figures as "Fenerbahçe's idols."

The players, who want to come to Turkey and watch a Fenerbahçe match, also requested tickets from Turkish Airlines (THY).
