Villarreal and Mallorca draw!

Villarreal and Mallorca faced off in the 21st week of the Spanish La Liga. The match at La Ceramica ended in a 1-1 draw.

Villarreal took the lead in the 45th minute with a goal from Alexander Sörloth. Mallorca responded to this goal in the 90th minute with Javier Llabres Exposito.

Pepe Reina was shown a red card in the 62nd minute, leaving Villarreal with 10 men.

Alexander Sörloth played the full 90 minutes for Villarreal. For Mallorca, Cyle Larin remained on the pitch for 80 minutes, while Vedat Muriqi entered the game in the 80th minute.

Following this result, both teams moved up to 20 points.

Villarreal will face Barcelona away in the league next week. Mallorca will host Real Betis at home.
