Vinicius Junior named best football player of 2024
In 'The Best' awards, where the most successful names in football for 2024 were selected, Brazilian Vinicius Junior was named the best male football player.

The winners of 'The Best' awards, organized by FIFA and voted on by football fans from all over the world, have been announced.
As a result of the voting, the best football player, goalkeeper, coach, and team of the year for both men and women, as well as the best goal, fan, and fair-play awards, found their owners.
Real Madrid's Brazilian player Vinicius Junior won the FIFA Best Men's Player award.
Finishing first with 48 points after surpassing 10 other candidates in the voting, Vinicius beat Manchester City midfielder Rodri (43 points) and his Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham (37 points). The goal scored by Manchester United player Alejandro Garnacho against Everton was deemed worthy of the Puskas award.
