Demirel stated that their opponent, İstanbulspor, secured a clear 3-0 victory. Congratulating İstanbulspor, Demirel noted that his opponents played very well.

"Especially considering the situation of İstanbulspor and our own situation. If we had won today, we might have breathed a sigh of relief, but to do that, we had to show the necessary struggle and performance. The performance gap between the Galatasaray match a week ago and this match is very different. Therefore, personally, I do not accept this defeat. We will conduct an assessment of the situation accordingly."
