Volkan Demirel referred to PFDK

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that Hatayspor Manager Volkan Demirel and 4 Super Lig clubs have been referred to the PFDK.

The statement from the TFF is as follows:

"The referral reports made by the Legal Consultancy to the Professional Football Discipline Committee on 04.12.2023 are stated below. (*)

1- ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR Club administrator MEHMET GÜZEL has been referred to the PFDK with precautionary measures effective from 04.12.2023 due to his "actions contrary to instructions" during the ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR-BITEXEN ANTALYASPOR Trendyol Super Lig match played on 01.12.2023, in accordance with Article 46 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions and Article 5/8 of the 2023-2024 Season Super Lig Competition Status, as well as for "insult" in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions, and for "assault" in accordance with Article 44 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions,

It has been decided to refer ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR Club coach VOLKAN DEMİREL to the PFDK with precautionary measures effective from 02.12.2023 due to his "unsportsmanlike conduct" in the same match, in accordance with Article 36 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions.

2- It has been decided to refer BITEXEN ANTALYASPOR Club administrator DENİZ ALİ YEŞİL to the PFDK without precautionary measures due to his "actions contrary to instructions" during the ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR - BITEXEN ANTALYASPOR Trendyol Super Lig match played on 01.12.2023, in accordance with Article 46 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions and Article 5/8 of the 2023-2024 Season Super Lig Competition Status.

3- It has been decided to refer VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK Club to the PFDK due to its "actions contrary to instructions" during the VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK-İSTANBULSPOR A.Ş. Trendyol Super Lig match played on 01.12.2023, in accordance with Article 46 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions and Article 5/5 of the 2023-2024 Season Super Lig Competition Status.

4- SİLTAŞ YAPI PENDİKSPOR FUTBOL A.Ş. Club has been referred to the PFDK due to "ugly and bad chanting" during the SİLTAŞ YAPI PENDİKSPOR FUTBOL A.Ş.-GALATASARAY A.Ş. Trendyol Super Lig match played on 02.12.2023, in accordance with Article 53 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions, and due to "statements regarding the referee and other match officials" included in the post made on the club's official social media account on 02.12.2023, in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions,

It has been decided to refer SİLTAŞ YAPI PENDİKSPOR FUTBOL A.Ş. Club President MAHMUT TÜRKOĞLU to the PFDK without precautionary measures due to "statements regarding the referee and other match officials" included in the post made on the club's official social media account on 02.12.2023, in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions."
