"People I know, friends, and family want me to be involved in the community. This is something I am proud of. If there is a need, we are always ready to take on a role. Speaking about Fenerbahçe's head coach Domenico Tedesco, Demirel said that the coach should be supported:

There is no need for Fenerbahçe to be a team that changes coaches every minute. Everyone started thinking this way after the Zagreb match, but continuing with the coach seems to be the most correct decision. At the very least, he should be kept on until the international break."
