Atakaş Hatayspor Manager Volkan Demirel congratulated Çaykur Rizespor on their victory.

Noting that the league has become difficult for them, Demirel stated, "We have shown that we will now be fighting at the bottom. We have two matches ahead of us at home against our rivals. We want to win these and continue. To be honest, we came to Rize to take points. It is the first time I have come to a match to take points, not even points, but we couldn't manage it today. We will look at the upcoming matches and hopefully try to finish the season in the best way possible."

"We couldn't find positions in the attacking zone to disturb the opponent or put them in a difficult situation," said Demirel, adding the following:

"Everything is related to the flow and development of the match. There is a penalty position; perhaps when we asked the referee, the interpretation was, 'He hit the ball. After hitting the ball, it hit his hand.' But when we look at it, we see that the man did not intend to hit the ball, and that the ball touched his hand after hitting his foot. This is my interpretation and it is a penalty, but of course, since it is a position open to interpretation, I respect the referees. Perhaps if that position had been a penalty and a goal, the game would have gone in a different direction. We struggled against closed defenses today. We have two matches at home next week and the week after. We will try to move up by winning."
