Wayne Rooney's new destination has been confirmed!

English manager Wayne Rooney has signed a contract with English Championship side Birmingham City.

In a statement released by the club, it was announced that a 3.5-year agreement had been reached with the 37-year-old manager, Rooney.

Rooney, who ended his professional football career in 2021, remains the all-time leading goalscorer for the English Premier League club Manchester United with 253 goals.

Major League Soccer (MLS) side DC United parted ways with Rooney on October 8. Under Rooney's management, DC United failed to qualify for the play-offs in the MLS Cup this season. During his tenure at the US club, which began in 2022, Rooney recorded 14 wins, 13 draws, and 26 losses in 53 matches.
