Fenerbahçe wanted to send Allan Saint-Maximin to Napoli and add Mimovic, signed from Red Star Belgrade, to their squad. However, the Italian club Napoli could not complete the transfer paperwork for Maximin before the winter transfer window closed. As the transfer did not materialize, Maximin remained at Fenerbahçe.
