Having made a magnificent start in the Süper Lig and the UEFA Conference League, Fenerbahçe experienced a nightmare last night away at Nordsjaelland.

The Yellow-Navies, who have been experiencing a visible decline in recent weeks, bowed 6-1 to the Danish side Nordsjaelland, which has a squad value of 37.7 million Euros.

With the final whistle of the match, Fenerbahçe player İrfan Can Kahveci had a tense moment with a fan in the stands.

PLAYERS INTERVENED

As the national footballer, unable to control his temper, headed toward the stands, security personnel and Fenerbahçe teammates intervened.

A statement regarding the incident came from Kahveci's representative, Batur Altıparmak.

Speaking to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu from Sports Digitale, Altıparmak said the following;

"Since the beginning of the match, including the warm-ups, a Turkish fan in the Nordsjaelland stands has been swearing at İrfan Can and his family. When İrfan was entering the game, he said, 'We'll see each other after the match.' At the end of the match, that person in the stands continued his insults and provocations. İrfan then headed toward the stands. That area is not the Fenerbahçe section, but a block where Turks living in Denmark are also located."
