Will Erden Timur run for president? He officially announced it!

Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Deputy Chairman Erden Timur made a statement at a press conference.

Answering the question, "Will you be a candidate for the presidency?" Erden Timur said, "No, no. Such a thing has never been on the table. People within the Galatasaray community know that I cannot even find the time to answer my phone. If there were such a thought, I would say so. A person would communicate it."

Erden Timur stated, "My 9-year-old daughter became school president; she talked to all her friends one by one. I cannot even meet with most of our members. I cannot answer my phone. I apologize to everyone. There is a desire to stir things up as much as possible regarding the election. I have expressed it clearly. Everyone I know in the management has a clear view on this matter. The election is a decision of the general assembly. The expectation is for our elder, President Dursun, who shows this effort and devotion and makes sacrifices for Galatasaray, to continue. There are projects, and they need to be completed. Such a thing has never been on the table."
