Manager Xavi Hernandez, who announced that he will end his tenure at Barcelona at the end of the season, made statements ahead of their match against Osasuna.

Xavi said, "We need unity more than ever now because we are going through difficult times. The season is not over. We want to do good work. We need to organize ourselves more and better. We are weak in defense and our performance as a team has dropped. We need to reach the level of last year and engage in self-criticism."

Continuing his remarks regarding his decision to leave, Xavi said, "I had decided a long time ago that this season would be my last. Barcelona fans need enthusiasm for next season. More than anything, I think this is the best decision. I have always felt valued by the board of directors. I say this with my hand on my heart."

"COACHING BARÇA IS TORTURE!"

Touching upon the fact that being a coach at Barcelona is a very difficult situation, the experienced manager concluded his words as follows: "Coaching at Barcelona is torture. That is how I feel. I am trying to explain what I feel. They constantly tell you that you are not the right person to be the coach of Barça. I couldn't understand it when Guardiola, Valverde, and Luis Enrique were describing it. Now I understand. Being the Barcelona manager is not a pleasant job. I feel like my life is in danger at every moment."
