Barcelona Club has announced that they will part ways with 44-year-old Spanish coach Xavi following the final league match of the season.
Xavi, who also served as captain during his time as a player at Barcelona, led the Catalan side to a league title in the 2022-2023 season after taking charge as coach in 2021. Reports suggesting that Laporta did not wish to continue with Xavi had been circulating in the Spanish press for the past few weeks. Spanish newspapers claim that Barcelona's new head coach will be Hansi Flick and that initial talks have already taken place.
