Youssef En-Nesyri begins his Al Ittihad career with a goal

In the AFC Champions League league stage, Al Ittihad defeated Al Gharafa 7-0 in a match where former Fenerbahçe player Youssef En-Nesyri scored, securing their spot in the Round of 16.

In the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League league phase, Saudi Arabian representative Al Ittihad hosted Qatari side Al Gharafa. The match, played at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, concluded with the home team's dominance from start to finish.

EN-NESYRI OPENS THE SCORING EARLY

Starting the match quickly, Al Ittihad took a 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute with a goal from former Fenerbahçe player Youssef En-Nesyri. Having taken control of the game with this goal, the Saudi team did not allow their opponent any scoring chances.

GOALS CAME ONE AFTER ANOTHER

Maintaining their pressure in the first half, Al Ittihad doubled the lead in the 20th minute with a goal from Houssem Aouar. Scoring accelerated in the second half. Roger Fernandes found the net in the 49th and 62nd minutes, while Danilo Pereira recorded another goal for his team in the 51st minute. Aouar completed the match with a hat-trick, scoring in the 58th and 79th minutes.

GOAL AND ASSIST FROM EN-NESYRI

Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri contributed to the scoreline by providing an assist for Al Ittihad's fifth goal, in addition to his own goal in the match.

ROUND OF 16 GUARANTEED

With this emphatic victory, Al Ittihad increased their points to 12, moving up to 5th place in the league phase and guaranteeing their place in the AFC Champions League Round of 16. Al Gharafa remained at 6 points and sits in 10th place.
