Medals will now be awarded in the senior category at the European Air Gun Championships. According to a statement from the Turkish Shooting Federation, the city of Osijek, Croatia, will host the European Championships for seniors following the junior category.
The event, which will begin with practice shots tomorrow, will officially start its competitions on Sunday, March 9. Twelve national athletes, including Olympic silver medalist Yusuf Dikeç and Şevval İlayda Tarhan, will compete to win medals at the championship.
The national shooters who will represent Turkey in the organization are as follows:
10-meter air pistol: Yusuf Dikeç, İsmail Keleş, Buğra Selimzade, Mustafa İnan, Adnan Efe Uçar, Şevval İlayda Tarhan, Şimal Yılmaz, Esra Bozabalı
10-meter air rifle: Mert Nalbant, Damla Köse, Şule Nur Tekeli, Elif Berfin Altun
The competitions in the championship will conclude on Wednesday, March 12.
