Ticket prices announced: Tourist Eastern Express is embarking on its first journey!
The Tourist Eastern Express, the favorite of the 2025-2026 winter season, returns to the tracks tomorrow on the Ankara-Kars line.

The first journey of the 2025-2026 winter season for the Tourist Eastern Express, realized in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, begins tomorrow.
The Tourist Eastern Express, which attracts intense interest from domestic and foreign tourists, will depart from Ankara on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and from Kars on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Two train services will be organized weekly in both directions.
Tourist Eastern Express tickets are offered for sale in two separate ways: individual sales and tour packages. Individual tickets can be obtained through TCDD Transportation sales channels, while tour packages can be purchased through authorized agencies.
On journeys where two people can stay in sleeping compartments, ticket prices on the Ankara-Kars route are offered for sale at 14 thousand liras for two people until January 14, and at 12 thousand liras on the Kars-Ankara line.
Starting from January 16, the price of journeys departing from Ankara will start at 17 thousand liras, and the price of journeys departing from Kars will start at 15 thousand liras.
