- 2 cups flour
- 125 g butter
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 handful of walnut kernels
- 1/4 tsp salt
HOW TO MAKE FLOUR HALVA?
- Prepare the ingredients for the flour halva; adding them in order is important.
- For the syrup, heat the water, milk, and sugar in a small saucepan, stirring until dissolved.
- Set aside to use later.
- To roast the flour, place the butter in a medium-sized pot and melt it.
- Once the butter has melted, add the flour and walnut kernels and begin roasting.
- Roast over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until the color of the flour changes, then add the salt.
- Pour the prepared syrup over the roasted flour and walnuts, stirring constantly.
- When the halva reaches the desired consistency, turn off the heat.
- After closing the lid of the pot, let it rest for 5 minutes.
- You can serve your halva after it has rested.
