Turkey's most searched content on YouTube revealed: That series is at the top

According to information compiled from Google data, domestic productions stood out in the search trends of YouTube users in Turkey during the January-June period of 2026. The most queried term on the platform in the first half of the year was the series "Taşacak Bu Deniz," which airs on TRT 1.

The series "Yeraltı" took second place on the list. The search term "songs," representing music content, settled into third place. The presence of 5 domestic series in the top 10 queries also highlighted the visibility of local television productions on video platforms.

The most searched titles on YouTube in Turkey during the first 6 months of the year were, in order, "Taşacak Bu Deniz," "Yeraltı," "songs," "Manifest," "Uzak Şehir," "Minecraft," "Sevdiğim Sensin," "song," "Eşref Rüya," and "car."

Compared to the same period last year, it was observed that searches for "songs," "Uzak Şehir," "Minecraft," "song," and "Eşref Rüya" maintained their popularity. Among the queries that showed an increase in search volume, the titles "Daha 17," "Kabe’de hacılar hu der Allah," "Survivor," "Delikanlı," and "Daha İyi" stood out.

On a global scale, the top five terms in YouTube searches were ranked as "song," "movie," "video," "songs," and "dj." The impact of Turkish productions was notable in the list of trending queries worldwide; "Yeraltı" took the top spot in this category, followed by searches for "TikTok mashup 2026" and "trending music."

Other notable global searches on the rise included the terms "Sevdiğim Sensin" and "bairan song."
