THE PLOT OF THE SERIES GASSAL
Baki, who washes the bodies of people with no next of kin, decides one day to change his life so as not to share their fate. In this process, he begins to face everything he has consciously avoided until now: socializing, getting married, and becoming a part of society... However, this lifestyle, which he had rejected until his 30s, seems meaningless to him. Young people constantly sharing photos on Instagram, marriages performed out of tradition, and little lies told among friends seem absurd to him.
His effort to find someone to "wash" him gives Baki the opportunity to examine society with an objective eye. At the end of this journey, he faces his deeply hidden past and the major traumas he has experienced. Thus, he discovers that the fear of death actually lies at the root of all his anxieties.
