100 million TL cannabis island in the Tigris River! Found with drones and destroyed
In Diyarbakır, cannabis with a market value of over 100 million Turkish Liras, discovered on islets in the section of the Tigris River within the Bismil district, has been destroyed.

As a result of drone operations conducted by teams from the Provincial Security Directorate's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch and the District Security Directorate in the section of the Tigris River within the Bismil district, and on islets formed due to the river's water flow, potential areas suspected of cannabis cultivation were identified. A total of 1,220 cannabis plants were seized in two different areas identified on the islets in the river.
The cannabis plants, which were seized there and are suitable for the production of approximately 300 kilograms of skunk-cannabis with a market value of over 100 million Turkish Liras, were destroyed.
