3 judges and 1 prosecutor suspended: Decision regarding the individual released in the İzmir 'shoulder-bumping' murder case!
In the case concerning the stabbing death of 30-year-old Semih Kenan Köse during a 'shoulder-bumping' argument at a market in Urla, İzmir, the defendant Sercan B., who had been released, has been re-arrested. The 3 judges and 1 prosecutor who granted the release have been suspended.

The individual who was released in the case concerning the murder of a person during a fight at a market in the Urla district of İzmir, but was later detained following an arrest warrant, has been imprisoned.
Sercan B., who was apprehended by police teams yesterday, was sent to prison after being referred to the courthouse.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On October 16, 2023, an argument broke out between Semih Kenan Köse (30) and Sercan B. at a market in the Altıntaş neighborhood due to "shoulder-bumping," and Köse, who was wounded with a knife, lost his life at the Urla State Hospital where he had been taken.
Police detained Sercan B. and his brothers Serkan B. and Taylan B., who were involved in the fight, and the suspects were arrested.
In the indictment prepared by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a lawsuit was filed against the 3 brothers demanding life imprisonment for the crime of "intentional killing in participation."
In previous hearings of the case, release decisions were made for the imprisoned brothers Serkan B. and Taylan B., and in the hearing on September 17, it was decided to release the last imprisoned defendant, Sercan B.
The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) suspended the presiding judge and two member judges of the İzmir 3rd High Criminal Court who issued the release decision, as well as the hearing prosecutor; following an objection by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an arrest warrant was issued for the defendant Sercan B. by the İzmir 4th High Criminal Court.
Sercan B. was caught by police teams yesterday and was referred to the courthouse after his processing.
