3-year-old child dies after falling into pool at bungalow in Sapanca
A 3-year-old child who fell into a pool at a bungalow in the Sapanca district of Sakarya has lost her life despite all interventions at the hospital where she was taken.

In the Mahmudiye neighborhood of Sakarya's Sapanca district, 3-year-old Sena Y., the daughter of the couple D.Y. and B.Y. who were staying at a bungalow for a vacation, fell into the pool inside the bungalow during a momentary lapse in the family's attention. The father, noticing the young child, immediately jumped into the pool, pulled his daughter out of the water, and performed the initial intervention.
Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams took little Sena to the Sapanca District State Hospital for treatment.
However, despite all efforts at the hospital, 3-year-old Sena Y. could not be saved and lost her life.
Authorities stated that an investigation into the tragic incident is ongoing.
