According to the information obtained, Hüseyin Can S. carried out an armed attack on a coffeehouse located next to the Çorum Courthouse.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Barış Can Özel, S.S., İ.Y., Ş.M., and O.Z. were injured in the attack.
The injured were taken to the Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital and a private hospital in the city by ambulances after receiving initial intervention at the scene by 112 Emergency Health teams.
One of the injured, Barış Can Özel, could not be saved despite medical interventions.
It was learned that S.S., one of the injured whose treatment continues at the hospital, is in critical condition.
Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspect who fled after the attack.
