Ankara Governor's Office sets the time: A storm is coming!

The Ankara Governor's Office has warned citizens due to strong winds and short-term storms expected to be effective across the city on Monday, May 26, 2025. In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was stated that the wind, which is expected to blow from the south starting from the morning hours, is predicted to lose its effect in the evening hours.

Authorities pointed out that negative conditions such as transportation disruptions, roof dislodgements, tree falls, and dust transport may occur due to the storm, and emphasized that citizens should be careful and cautious.

While the air temperature in Ankara is hovering around 32°C on Sunday, May 25, 2025, thundery showers are expected on Monday, May 26. Temperatures are expected to drop to 28°C and the wind is expected to be effective.

It is recommended that citizens be careful when going out, especially in the morning and afternoon hours, not to stand under roofs or near trees, to park their vehicles in safe places, and if possible, not to be in open areas.
