The incident occurred around 10:00 AM on Bekar Street, located on Istiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district. According to reports, an argument broke out between two shopkeepers on the street for reasons yet unknown.
The argument quickly escalated into an armed fight. As weapons were drawn during the altercation, 2 shopkeepers were wounded, and police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

The wounded were taken to the hospital by ambulance following initial intervention by medical teams.
