Attention motorcycle couriers: Today is the last day! Both fees and penalties will increase
As the deadline approaches for the P1 certificate, which has become mandatory for commercial motorcycle use, couriers and companies that do not complete their procedures before the discounted application period ends will face heavy sanctions.

The final stage has been reached for the P1 certificate, which is mandatory for all drivers performing commercial motorcycle deliveries. This certificate, which the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has included within the scope of the Road Transport Regulation, covers a wide range of entities, from individual courier drivers to restaurant and grocery delivery teams, and logistics firms operating with motorcycles. The regulation brings not only official authorization but also standards that will strengthen the safety of couriers.
DISCOUNTED FEE ENDS ON NOVEMBER 15
The 95 percent discount applied by the Ministry for the P1 Authorization Certificate will end on November 15. While the fee for one motorcycle is currently applied as 7,662 Turkish Lira, the amount will rise to 17,252 Turkish Lira after this date. For this reason, it is of great importance that both individual couriers and businesses do not delay their application steps.
HEAVY SANCTIONS FOR THOSE WORKING WITHOUT A CERTIFICATE
Drivers engaged in commercial activities without a P1 certificate will face serious penalties during inspections. While an administrative fine of 16,420 Turkish Lira will be imposed on couriers without the certificate, a "suspension of operations" sanction will also be put into effect.
APPLICATIONS ARE MADE VIA E-DEVLET
Those who wish to obtain the certificate can carry out their applications through the e-Devlet system. Those who wish may also complete their procedures by going to the regional directorates of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
