According to initial reports, 31 people were injured after a passenger bus crashed into barriers and overturned in Kütahya.
The passenger bus with license plate 50 DK 949, driven by M.E.G. and reportedly traveling from Istanbul to Kuşadası, lost control at the 36th kilometer of the Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar highway. The bus struck the barriers and subsequently overturned.
Following reports of the accident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, AFAD, fire department, medical, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured were transported to nearby hospitals by ambulance after receiving initial medical intervention at the scene.
It was stated that traffic on the Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar highway in the direction of Afyonkarahisar is closed due to the accident.
