Car hits curb and skids 200 meters
In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, a car lost control, hit the curb, and skidded for approximately 200 meters before striking a tree. The driver lost his life in the tragic accident, while a passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A traffic accident that occurred on Şehit Miralay Nazım Bey Boulevard in the Battalgazi neighborhood of Kayseri's Melikgazi district has claimed a life. The car with license plate 06 FC 088, driven by Emre F. (21), first mounted the curb after the driver lost steering control.
The vehicle, which skidded rapidly due to the impact, knocked down road signs and came to a stop after hitting a tree approximately 200 meters away. Upon notification by witnesses, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
While police teams took security measures in the area, medical personnel determined that the driver, Emre F., had lost his life at the scene. M.A. (21), who was a passenger in the car, was seriously injured and was transported to the Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Hospital after receiving initial treatment.
Following the accident, debris from the car was scattered around the area, and after investigations were completed, Emre F.'s body was taken to the hospital morgue. The damaged vehicle was removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
