Chain-reaction traffic accident involving 5 vehicles in Esenler! There are dead and injured

A chain-reaction traffic accident involving 5 vehicles occurred during the night in the Esenler district of Istanbul. As a result of the accident, 1 person lost their life and 9 people were injured. An investigation into the accident has been launched.

A chain-reaction traffic accident involving a motorcycle, a minibus, and three cars occurred at approximately 01:45 at the Atış Alanı junction of the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood on the TEM Highway in Esenler, Istanbul.

The motorcycle involved in the accident, the cause of which is not yet clear, caught fire after dragging along the scene. While the motorcycle rider, identified as a foreign national named Yahya K., lost his life in the accident, Murat O., Miraç O., Doğukan B., and 6 other people whose names could not be learned were injured in the cars.

Following the accident, police, medical, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon notification. After initial interventions by medical teams at the scene, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.

Police teams temporarily closed the route where the accident occurred to traffic and took security measures by cordoning off the scene.

Crime scene investigation teams carried out their work at the site of the accident. The body of Yahya K., who lost his life in the accident, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
