Critical warning for 2 regions: Strong winds and downpours are coming
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for strong winds along the North Aegean coast, and for downpours in the Marmara and Black Sea regions. In Istanbul, short-term rain showers are expected during the day. Temperatures in the central and eastern regions are set to rise by up to 6 degrees.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced in its weather forecast report that very strong winds are expected, particularly along the North Aegean coast. The wind is projected to blow from the north at speeds of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour. This situation is expected to negatively affect the fires in İzmir and Manisa.
Other regions where the wind will be effective include the southwest of the Marmara region, the southwest of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kahramanmaraş and Adıyaman. Citizens living in these regions are urged to be cautious.
DOWNPOUR ALARM IN THE BLACK SEA AND MARMARA
The Meteorology office has issued a warning for local downpours and thunderstorms during the afternoon for the Black Sea and Marmara regions. Precipitation is expected to be short-lived but effective, particularly in areas such as the Western Black Sea, the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the north and east of Marmara, and the northwest of Central Anatolia.
RAIN SHOWERS IN ISTANBUL
Local rain showers are expected in Istanbul between 09:00 and 14:30 starting from the morning hours. While it was stated that the precipitation would be effective in some districts of the city, it was noted that the general weather would remain between 28 and 30 degrees and be sunny.
TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO RISE
It was announced that air temperatures would increase by 3 to 6 degrees in the central and eastern regions, while temperatures across the country would remain around seasonal norms.
