Deadly crash in Çanakkale: Identities of the 5 victims confirmed
Five people lost their lives and one was injured after a car, which allegedly failed to comply with a police stop signal, entered the wrong lane and collided with another vehicle in Çanakkale. The identities of those who lost their lives have been confirmed.

A fatal traffic accident occurred in Çanakkale during the night. The collision between two cars on the Lapseki-Çanakkale highway resulted in 5 deaths and 1 injury.
POLICE CHASE ALLEGATION
The accident occurred around 02:30 on the Lapseki-Çanakkale highway. It is alleged that the car with license plate 35 APD 325, driven by an individual whose identity has not yet been determined, failed to comply with a police "stop" order and began to flee. The vehicle, which was being pursued by police teams, entered the wrong lane at the Kangırlı junction.
COLLISION IN THE WRONG LANE
The car traveling in the wrong lane collided with a vehicle with license plate 17 LP 800, driven by Mustafa Soysal, which was coming from the direction of Lapseki. Drivers who witnessed the accident reported the situation to 112 Emergency Health teams.
5 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon notification, numerous ambulances and fire crews were dispatched to the scene. A total of 5 people in both vehicles lost their lives in the accident, and 1 person was injured. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue of Lapseki State Hospital.
IDENTITIES CONFIRMED
It was determined that Nuray Tekin, Osman Göksu, and Doğukan Samet Eğer, who were in the car with license plate 35 APD 325, and Neslihan Soysal and Hanife Soysal, who were in the vehicle with license plate 17 LP 800, lost their lives. Mustafa Soysal, the driver of the car with license plate 17 LP 800, was taken to the hospital with injuries.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
While it was learned that the injured driver is continuing treatment at the hospital, an investigation into the accident has been initiated.
