Devastating fire in Burdur: 5 private public buses reduced to scrap
As a result of a fire that broke out in Burdur, 5 private public buses were rendered unusable. Another bus, whose windows shattered due to the heat, was saved from burning at the last moment.

A fire broke out in one of the buses parked at the Burdur Private Public Bus Cooperative parking lot in the Aydınlıkevler neighborhood.
Upon reports from witnesses who saw the fire spreading rapidly to other buses, 112 Emergency Health, fire department, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
In the fire, which was extinguished through the intervention of fire crews, 5 buses were rendered unusable, and one bus, whose windows shattered due to the heat, was saved from burning at the last moment.
Burdur Municipality Fire Chief Mehmet Ali Ballak stated that 3 fire trucks and 11 personnel arrived at the scene following the report.
Stating that 5 buses were completely burned in the fire that started in the buses parked adjacent to each other, Ballak said, "We have brought the fire under control, and cooling efforts are ongoing. Our team will conduct the necessary investigation regarding the cause of the fire. I wish the vehicle owners a speedy recovery."
One of the vehicle owners, Erkan Gedik, also noted that when he arrived at the scene, he saw his bus was on fire and that the teams were investigating the cause of the blaze.
