Dog attacks 7-year-old daughter of famous presenter Aslı Özkaya!

Tanem, the 7-year-old daughter of famous presenter Aslı Özkaya, narrowly escaped death as she was leaving her sports class over the weekend.

According to NTV, the young girl was attacked by a dog kept in the same apartment building as the gym.

The dog knocked Tanem to the ground and bit her on the back. Her mother, Aslı Özkaya, the presenter of the program "Bir Şansım Olsa" (I Have a Chance) aired on Star TV, who was with her at the time, watched the incident in horror.

"IT DRAGGED HER ON THE GROUND"

While still in shock from the incident, Aslı Özkaya said the following:

"We were walking on the sidewalk. The dog coming from the opposite direction suddenly attacked my daughter from behind. It bit her shoulder blade and knocked her to the ground. Those moments were an indescribable fear. The dog dragged my daughter; I felt helpless."

With the sound of screams and the intervention of those nearby, the little girl was rescued from the dog. Tanem was immediately taken to the hospital and given a rabies vaccine.

"HOW CAN A 14-YEAR-OLD CHILD CONTROL IT?"

Stating that the dog was being walked by a 14-year-old girl, Özkaya reacted to the situation, saying, "How can such a powerful dog be left in the care of a child? When the dog attacked, the child dropped the leash and went into shock."

DOG TAKEN FROM FAMILY AND BROUGHT TO SHELTER

Upon Özkaya's complaint, the incident was reported to police teams. During the investigation, it was determined that the dog did not have a microchip or a rabies vaccination. Authorities took the dog from the family and brought it to a shelter.

The family that owns the dog that attacked the 7-year-old child expressed their regret over the incident.
