Driver whose side mirror was broken in accident kills 2 people! 'I shoot anyone who cuts me off, I am honored'

In the Çiftlik district of Niğde, a minor traffic accident occurred when the side mirrors of a vehicle driven by Hamza C. and a car driven by Abdullah Gündoğdu collided. The verbal argument that started between the parties after the accident quickly turned into a fight.

Hamza C., who pulled out a gun he was carrying at his waist, opened fire on Abdullah Gündoğdu and two other people in the same vehicle. As a result of the gunfire, Hakan Çelik, Abdullah Gündoğdu, and an unidentified person were wounded.

Gündoğdu and Çelik, who were seriously injured, could not be saved despite all interventions at the Çiftlik State Hospital, where they were taken by ambulance. It was reported that the unidentified injured person remains in critical condition.

APPREHENDED IN AKSARAY

It was determined that Hamza C., who fled the scene by getting into his vehicle after the incident, had escaped toward Aksaray. The Aksaray Police Department teams identified that the vehicle had entered the city using the Kireçlik road via license plate recognition systems. H.C., who tried to flee after his vehicle was found on land in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood, was apprehended by police teams.

"I SHOT THEM OPENLY"

The suspect, Hamza C., who was taken to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital for a health check, said in a statement to reporters, "He tried to cut me off. I shoot anyone who cuts me off. I am Mukhtar Hamza. They cut me off, I shot them openly. I shot 2 people. Would I regret it? I am honored. They shouldn't have cut me off."

The investigation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the incident is ongoing.
